reached lakeside at 1020 , lesson was at 11
damn early lol , first time i come so early for anything.
apparently , the effect of "paying your own stuff" came up .
was hungry , so went to grab a bite , immediately regret it
smudged chocolate all over lol
then abit paiseh , cause got alot of girl walked past , some are quite the looker though.
waited till 1050 at the bus stop , then i saw a white lancer glx with a L plate drive past.
so i walked towards it.
coming earlier is probably a good thing , at 1055 he let his student go .so i went up to ask if he is raymmond and since he IS raymmond , he said yes lol
he asked me to hope on board , and FOR THE FIRST TIME im nervous , sitting in the driver's seat.
passed him my PDL , he starts recording and all.
then he explains to me all the stuff , bla bla bla , all the payment and appointment things.
well...he was older than i thought , which initially comes as a shock to me , he sound damn young on the phone lol.
lesson starts , he teaches me how to adjus my seat and all. then how to measure the mirrors , from young i always wondered how do people adjust the mirrors outside, but it was so simple LOL , made mistakes while adjusting the rear view , "you must do it the proper way" , rear view mirror's cool , damn big , can see alot sia.
taught me how to steer , "no cross hand" , "left hand right turn" and so on. the horns , how to turn on engine , read the meter handbraking . "soft skills" i would like to call them . soft , yet important.
next he starts to teach about the clutch , brake and engine. he clarified what i was always confused about , engine braking , clutchwork , most of the stuff i know are right , so i just ahev to correct some of them.
next i was taught how to control the accelerator , the car damn power sia , i just stepped 2mm and the power immediately rose to 3rpm , which the instructor say is not good , he want me to go 1.5-2
step 1mm , and power's at 1 , damn
managed to hit 1.7~ , then he tell me to maintain for 2 second,
played around abit , managed to do it in 1 min lol
and we finally went off whee~~
misconception one : at biting point , no gas , car wont move
fact : the car DO move even without gas at biting point , apparently it is because the engine is idling , but it is actually turning , low power is being generated.
rolled awhile without gas , at the start , released clutch slowly as per his instructions.
hit biting point within one try (im a genius lol)
too early to say sia.
he told me to let go of clutch , apparently , if you let go too fast , the car will shudder and engine may stall.
somehow i felt the car engine almost giving up , so i stepped in clutch abit , engine didn stall lol.
next i was instructed to step on gas , which i obviously overdid lol , since im hanging on left foot at the biting point , not easy you know LOL.
held for 2 secs , apparently he is satisfied , he tell me to switch to 2nd gear

dunnoe why , must be a decisive reflex ba , and also traffic light in 200 metre sia.
instinct kick in , clutch in as well as gas out , gear shift to 2 , kina scolded again for shifting too fast and hard lol.
accidentally let go clutch abit too fast , car jerked , still didn stall , imba. (talent siol)
negotiated a turn , he holding the steering wheel all the way , was abit scared , cause i scared people suddenly popped out , but good fortune dont have LOL.
went to a single carriage way (damn those idiot truck parkers) , was still scared sia , dunnoe other side the bus will stop anot , but apparently , the L sign is imba . went past without trouble.
next at the end , went pass a turn at the road junction , as usual , i scared car will come and i cant stop in time, but luckily that didn happen.
ended lesson , paid the fees.
